Sylvia has a BA in Speech, Telecommunications & Theater from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and trained in improv comedy at famed Second City in Chicago, Illinois.
An actress and improviser for over 20 years, Sylvia co-founded The IMPROVables improv troupe in 2010. She also performs as a solo artist for public, private and corporate events.
Favorite theatrical roles include: Mrs. Cheveley in An Ideal Husband, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Ruth in Blithe Spirit, Princess Katherine in Henry V, and Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion.
